“ I very much enjoy their burritos. Order and pay at front counter, food delivered to your table. My main criticism is order is not always prepared right. Inconsistent. Either something is missing or food not prepared as per order. Staff is super nice though and will try to make it right. This is a very popular spot for Redwood High School kids, so it might be very busy during their lunch hour or after school. Plan your visit with that in mind. Plenty of parking. Seating inside is tight, and there are a few outside tables. Always nice to visit. ”
“ Excellent customer service and delicious pupusas and quesadillas. The horchatas are also tasty. Be sure to try the house salsa that is on each table -an excellent addition to the pupusas. What we had: Grilled chicken quesadilla (the chicken has great flavor with a little kick) Pupusas: Frijol Y Queso (bean and cheese) Chicharron Y Queso Revuelta: roast pork bean and cheese Horchata Salvadorena Indoor seating available but limited. The shop was quite busy with takeout orders. The burritos appeared to be well-portioned. ”
“ My tummy was grumbling for something filling, warm, and packed with flavor. My favorite local spot for pupusas came to mind. It's always a solid hit with several vegetarian options that are satisfying. I always want to try something new but the pupusas win every time. This is an order at the counter spot. You're welcome to grab a seat or take your order to go. You get a number if you decide to stay. By the way, they do not serve alcohol. Sometimes I grab a beer next door while I wait. However, the horchata is exceptional! Whatever you decide, do not skip the hot sauce. It's now bottled so you can put it on everything. I love to add the hot sauce to my breakfast sandos; you're welcome for the brilliant idea! The guac to start is fabulous. The chips are made with thick tortillas, you know what I'm talking about. The crunch is bananas good. I always grab pupusas, one of each vegetarian option: loroco flowers and cheese, beans and cheese, shredded squash and cheese with a side of black beans. This is my absolute favorite. The staff a great, the kitchen pumps these out fresh with each order, and the seating is cozy. On a nice day, I like to sit outside and soak up the sun. I'm always treated like family and I consider them family too. Check it out, you'll leave happy and really full. ”
“ On vacation with wife looking for a solid Mexican burrito. Found this place and immediately liked it. No fancy gimmicky ambiance, no weird braised tofu or beyond meat crap, etc. I didn't even see another non-Spanish speaking customer... Anyways, I got a veggie burrito with black beans and it was great! Exactly what I wanted from our trip to Cali. Also, the homemade hot sauce on the table was probably the best I've ever had. I would come here again many times if it were by my house. ”
“ I have been coming to this place for over a year now. It is always SO good and the employees are also so nice. I recommended the pollo plate it is so delicious and definitely try their pupusas. Their drinks are really great as well. ”
“ Wonderful food. We had steak tacos, pastor tacos, pepusas -- revuelta (savory and filling), chicaron (cheesy goodness), and loroco (nutty and cheesy)... all made so delicious with the pickled cabbage -- and fish tacos (crispy, large portion of well-seasoned mahi mahi). A taco and a pepusa are a filling dinner. A side of rice was salty and simple, not amazing by itself but it complimented the other flavors fine. For take out, it would be helpful if they could label the boxes. It took us a moment to figure out what was what. I can't wait to try more dishes here! ”
“ Delicious fresh, food! Steak tacos were so yummy!! You have to try their lemonade, too! Friendly service. Small inside area to dine. Tables outside as well! Glad we visited here. Very popular as many people came in for food orders! ”
“ What a lovely, friendly pupuseria to add to the list of great Latin American restaurants here in Marin! From the minute we walked in to a warm greeting we knew this would be a great meal (the aroma kind of gave that away, actually). We started out with the fried plantains, which were more like a dessert than an appetizer, but man were they tasty! They came with a side of sour cream but didn't need a thing. I ordered two tacos - pollo asada and steak along with a side of rice and beans. My wife had two pupusas and asked the young woman at the front counter to choose for her 'cause she couldn't make up her mind (she got the Revuelta and the Queso y Frijol). The pupusas came with a little salad and some sauce, but the star is the homemade hot sauce which is on every table and offered for sale in bottles - I can see why. It had a great zing but didn't overpower the meats or the pupusas. The Spanish rice was fluffy and flavorful, I left a tiny bit on the plate and my wife grabbed it and put in the to go box with the leftover platano fritos. I opted for refried beans and almost licked the dish clean. Everything was fresh, tasty, and delivered with a smile by a very nice staff - I'll guess there's a lot of family working there. It's not huge inside but nobody had to wait for tables, and they were doing a steady to-go business the entire time we were there. Highly recommended! ”
